No. 3 Omaha Hosts No. 4 Oral Roberts for 2022 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship

LEADING OFF
For the third time under head coach Tim Walters, the Mavericks advanced to the Summit League Championship match. Omaha upset the No. 2 seeded South Dakota State, while No. 4 Oral Roberts upset the top-seeded Denver. The Mavericks and Golden Eagles will meet at 3 p.m. on Saturday for the title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
QUICK KICKS
• Omaha beat South Dakota State 1-0 in the Summit League semifinals last weekend to advance to the championship match for the third time with head coach Tim Walters.
• SDSU was the lone remaining undefeated team in the nation with a 13-0-5 record heading into the match. They had the longest home unbeaten streak in the NCAA at 38 straight matches in Brookings. The Jacks' last loss on their home turf was to the Mavericks in the league semifinals back in 2018.

• Green tied the match vs. the Roos, while Marissa Gohr netted her third goal of the season vs. ORU for the game winner.
• Gohr, Green, and Erland lead Omaha with seven points this season on three goals and an assist. Green has six points with two goals and two assists.
• Green averaged 2.44 shots per game in conference action, which ranks fourth among the league's players.
• Five Mavericks earned all-league recognition Thursday morning. Regan Zimmers was named first team, while Grace Ostergaard claimed second team honors for the third straight season. Jordyn West is an honorable mention, and Emma Konsmo and Lindsey Birch are newcomer selections.

The Golden Eagles knocked off North Dakota State in the quarterfinals and then upset top-seeded Denver in the semis to advance to Saturday's championship match. ORU went 3-2 on penalty kicks following a scoreless draw with the Pioneers through two overtimes.
GOLDEN EAGLES TO WATCH
• Samantha See leads the Golden Eagles with six goals this season. She is tied as ORU's point leader with 15 as she has three assists to go with her six goals. See scored two goals vs. North Dakota State in the quarterfinals helping ORU advance in the league tournament.
• Julia Thasaphong matches See with a team-high 15 points. She has five goals and five assists on the year. She recorded a season-high three points with a goal and assist in two matches this year.
• In goal, Louisa Ramsauer has logged over 1,700 minutes over 20 starts for ORU. She's allowed 26 goals while making 74 saves. Ramsauer has a 1.31 goals against average this season.
