Bribieseca Named NCC Wrestler of the Week
Sim Bribieseca has been named the North Central Conference wrestler of the week for his performances last week at the Nebraska-Kearney Loper Open.
Bribieseca, a sophomore 141-pounder from Boys Town, Neb., captured the tournament title with with a 4-0 mark. He beat Dan Rowe of Dana 26-9 and Jeff Fallom of Hastings 8-4 in the opening rounds. In the semifinals he bested Adam Keiswetter, a former All-American, 5-3, before taking home the crown with a 3-2 win over Jeff Rutledge of Nebraska-Kearney, currently ranked #4 in NCAA II.
Bribeseca is currently ranked #6 in NCAA Division II.
