Kirby Becomes First Four-Time All-NCC Member

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Senior Stephanie Kirby was named Tuesday to the all-North Central Conference first team for the fourth time in as many years, becoming the first NCC player to do so. Kirby, an All-American her junior year, was joined by sophomore Becca Fritz on the first team. Juniors Ashley Grace, Rachel Tushner and Brytten Kraft made the second team.
Kirby had four goals and three assists in conference play, helping the 15th ranked Mavs earn the No. 2 seed in this weekend's NCC tournament. North Dakota, the third-seeded team will face the Mavs at 2 p.m. Friday in Mankato, Minnesota, as UNO shoots for its fourth-straight NCC crown. The Mavs (14-2-2) remained No. 1 in the NCAA Central Region rankings released Tuesday and should keep the top stop with a strong performance in the conference tournament.
