
Mavs Roll Past Augustana, 5-0

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Beth McGill and Amber Richardson each scored a pair of goals as the fifth-ranked Mavs defeated Augustana 5-0 Friday night in North Central Conference action. The Mavs improved to 10-1-0 and 6-0-0 in the conference as they won their 10th straight game.
Iwansky scored first for the Mavs at 23:29 on an assist from Tara Wegehaupt for her sixth goal and 15th point. McGill then converted a penalty kick in the 43rd minute to give UNO a 2-0 lead at half. Richardson then scored six minutes into the second half off a pass from McGill. The two then traded goals less than a minute apart late in the half with Iwansky offering an assist. MGill is now second on the team with 19 points off eight goals and three assists and Iwansky is third with 15 points. Richardson has 13.
The Mavs will start a four-game homestand Sunday as they host South Dakota at 1 p.m.
