Iwansky Earns NCC Player of the Week Honor

Columbus, Neb., sophomore Amanda Iwansky has been nmaed the North Central Conference's offensive player of the week. Iwansky scored three goals and had two assists last week as UNO defeated a pair of NCC opponents.
She had a goal and an assist in the Mavericks' 6-0 win over Augustana Oct. 6, then scored her seventh and eighth goals of the season to go with an assist in a 4-1 victory at South Dakota Sunday.
The No. 1 ranked Mavericks remained unbeaten at 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the NCC. This week's assignments for UNO are road trips to St. Cloud State on Saturday at noon and to Minnesota State, Mankato on Sunday at 1 p.m.
