Mavs Travel to 2 NCC Matches in Minnesota

The Mavericks take a swing through Minnesota for a pair of North Central Conference matches, visiting St. Cloud State Saturday at noon and Minnesota State, Mankato Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Records
No. 1 ranked UNO is now 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the NCC. St. Cloud State is 4-8-3 on the year and 0-6-2 in the league and MSU is 7-4-1 and 6-1-1 before hosting South Dakota Saturday.
The Series
UNO leads St. Cloud State 9-0 after defeating the Huskies 2-0 in Omaha Sept. 30. The Mavericks hold a 13-1 edge over Minnesota State, which UNO has not faced this year. The teams will close the regular season in Omaha Oct. 29.
The Coach
Don Klosterman is in his eighth season as the UNO head coach. Klosterman, a 1974 graduate of Benedictine, has a 137-26-4 mark and is the only coach the Mavericks have ever had. He has twice been named the NSCAA Coach of the Year, in 2002 and 2005.

UNO won a pair of NCC matches, downing Augustana 6-0 at home before posting a 4-1 win at South Dakota on Sunday.

The Mavericks go to Grand Forks, N.D., to play an NCC game against North Dakota on Oct. 20 before facing Mary in a non-conference match on Oct. 21
