McCawley Earns NCC Honor

Danielle McCawley's stellar defensive play in UNO's 2-0 North Central Conference win at Minnesota Duluth Sunday did not go unnoticed. The junior defender from Ralston was named the NCC's defensive player of the week for her performance in helping limit the Bulldogs to just one shot on goal.
The Mavericks, 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference, will be home this week for NCC matches Friday against South Dakota at 4 p.m. and Sunday vs. North Dakota at 1 p.m. at Ak-Sar-Ben.
