OMAHA, Neb. -- Senior Amber Richardson scored on an unassisted corner kick with 12:09 left in the game as top-ranked UNO escaped with a 1-0 victory over Truman State on Saturday at the UNO Soccer Field at Ak-Sar-Ben.
Nebraska-Omaha out shot TSU 25 to 6, including a 13 to 3 advantage in shots on goal.
Junior Ellen Petersen recorded three saves to remain unbeaten on the season.
Truman's starting goalkeeper Lauren Davis did not play the second half after getting injured just before halftime.
