Hochstein, McCawley Named NCC Honor Athletes

All-Americans Ben Hochstein and Dani McCawley are among 14 male and female student athletes named North Central Conference Honor Athletes for 2007-08.
Hochstein, a senior football player from Hartington, Neb., was a two-time first-team offensive lineman for the Mavericks and earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors last fall as well. He was a two-time most valuable offensive lineman in the NCC.
McCawley was the NCC's most valuable player last fall and was a three-time all-league selection. A three-time all-NCC academic team selection, she was named to the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team. She was a third-team NSCAA/adidas All-American.
The student-athletes honored are chosen for the academic performance, athletic ability and performance and leadership in campus and community activities.
The group will be honored at the June 21 NCC Celebration Dinner in Sioux Falls, S.D.
