Two Mavericks Named To All-MIAA Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Goalkeeper #Lauren Fox and forward Hilary Horvatic# were named to the All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics second team for soccer today. Fox was an All-MIAA honorable mention last year while this is the first such honor for Horvatic.
Fox started all 18 games for the Mavericks, posting a record of 10-7-1 with a 1.16 goals-against average and an .808 save percentage. She also posted four shutouts. She finished tied for third in the MIAA in goals-against average and fourth in save percentage. She tied for fifth in league shutouts. Fox, a senior, finishes her career ranked second in career saves (195), and seventh in goals-against average (1.08) and save percentage (.774). She ranks second all-time in UNO history with 33 career wins.
Horvatic had a career season, tying for the team lead with 15 points. She also tied for the team lead with six goals. She had a team-best three game-winning goals and 20 shots on goal. Horvatic tied for fifth in the MIAA in points and tied for third in goals and game winners.
UNO finished with a record of 10-7-1 and a league mark of 10-5-1, good for third place.
