Women's Soccer Announces 2014 Signing Class

OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Nebraska Omaha women's soccer program has announced the five high school seniors who will join the Mavericks next fall.
Izzy Anders (Fort Collins, Colo.), Jessica Bollinger (Tulsa, Okla.), Lydia Holtmann (Springfield, Mo.), Natalie Johnson (Omaha, Neb.) and Katlyn Schochenmaier (Norwalk, Iowa) comprise the Mavericks' 2014 signing class.
“We're very excited about this group of incoming freshmen,” Head Coach Don Klosterman said. “They all come from strong high school and club backgrounds, and each player has the work ethic we look for in our players. We look forward to welcoming them into the program and getting ready for next fall.”

Izzy Anders, Fr., F, 5-10, Fort Collins, Colo. (Fossil Ridge)
Was a second-team all-conference selection as a junior at Fossil Ridge High School…earned 2013 academic all-conference honors…played club soccer for Arsenal Colorado Gold and has served as team captain since 2011…was the 2012 Colorado State Cup Tournament MVP and was also named the 2013 Arsenal Soccer Club Player of the Year…born Jan. 19, 1996…daughter of Kurt and Kimberly Anders…has two brothers, Gavin and Tyler.
Jessica Bollinger, Fr., D, 5-8, Tulsa, Okla. (Booker T. Washington) 
Led Booker T. Washington to the state semifinals as a junior center back in 2013 and earned all-district (5A) all-metro honors…received the same honor as a sophomore playing center midfield…as a freshman on varsity, played forward and center midfield and led the Hornets in goals…played club soccer for the TSC Hurricane in the ECNL…also participated in volleyball and was a regional finalist in cross country… member of National Honor Society and student council…born Oct. 28, 1995 in Tahlequah, Okla….daughter of Jeramy and Shannon Bollinger…has two brothers, Josh and Jacob.
Lydia Holtmann, Fr., MF, 5-4, Springfield, Mo. (Springfield Catholic)
Was named the Missouri Class 1 Player of the Year and a first-team all-state selection after her junior
season at Springfield Catholic in which the Fighting Irish placed fourth at state…was a first-team all-state honoree and All-Region Player of the Year as a sophomore, helping the Fighting Irish to a third-place finish at the state tournament…was second-team all-state as a freshman…was also an all-state cross country selection and an honor roll student and National Honor Society member…played club soccer for Springfield Soccer Club, reaching the State Cup semifinals in 2012 and 2013…also competed with Tulsa Soccer Club in the ECNL…born Oct. 24, 1995...daughter of David and Molly Holtmann...has one sister, Elle, and two brothers, Max and Peter.
Natalie Johnson, Fr., MF, 5-6, Omaha, Neb. (Skutt Catholic) 
Received all-state honorable mention after her junior season at Skutt Catholic in which she played midfield and forward and helped the Skyhawks win the Class B state championship…also won a state championship with the Skyhawks as a freshman starting defender, earning all-conference honorable mention…played club soccer for Omaha FC Elite I 95/96…won two State Cup championships and participated in the Midwest Regional League Premier Division from 2011-13…born Oct. 22, 1995…daughter of Matthew and Julie Pace Johnson…has one sister, Alyssa (Johnson) Meredith, and one brother, Mitchell.
Katlyn Schochenmaier, Fr., GK, 5-8, Norwalk, Iowa (Norwalk) 
As a sophomore in 2011-12, earned all-state honorable mention with 139 saves in 13 matches, an .837 save percentage and five shutouts at Norwalk High School…spent her junior season of high school receiving elite goalie training…played club soccer for Iowa Rush and posted three clean sheets to lead her team to the State Cup title in 2013…participated in the Midwest Regional League with her club and won the Iowa Rush Golden Glove Award…also played volleyball at Norwalk…National Honor Society and honor roll member…selected to the academic all-state team…born Jan. 26, 1996…daughter of Gregg and Janine Schochenmaier…mother, Janine, played volleyball at the University of South Dakota…has two brothers, Kyle and Tyler, and one sister, Emily.
