The Omaha women's soccer team takes part in its first Summit League Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 1, against South Dakota State.
Field Set for 2018 Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship

OMAHA, Neb. – The field is set for next week's 2018 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship; the league office announced Sunday evening.  No. 4-seeded Omaha is one of four teams set to compete at the tournament, Nov. 1 and 3, at Fishback Soccer Complex in Brookings, S.D.  All matches will be streamed free of charge on thesummitleague.org.
The Mavericks (7-10-2, 4-3-1 Summit League) will face No. 1 seed and tournament host South Dakota State (12-5-1, 7-1) on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m.
Thursday's second match pits second-seeded Denver (11-5-2, 7-1) against No. 3 seed North Dakota State (9-6, 6-2) at 6 p.m.
The winners of Thursday's matches will play in Saturday's championship contest at Noon (CT) with the victor earning an automatic bid to the NCAA College Cup.
Tournament Notes
•   Omaha is making its first appearance in The Summit League Women's Soccer Championship.
•   South Dakota State and Denver tied for the regular season Summit League title.
•   SDSU secured the top seed at the tournament for the second straight year after owning the tie-breaker over DU.
