Marshall Named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Rylee Marshall picked up her first weekly honor of the season, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Marshall was named the TicketSmarter Defensive Player of the Week.It marks the first honor of her career.
Last week, Marshal totaled 10 blocks and leads the league in conference play with 1.83 blocks per set through the first weekend.
The senior middle blocker tallied five block assists vs. St. Thomas. She added another six blocks vs. Western Illinois.
In addition to her defensive efforts, she recorded three kills in each game. She hit .727 vs. WIU and .455 against St. Thomas.
