OMAHA, NEB. – Omaha Women's Soccer (4-5-4, 1-1-1 Summit) fell 2-0 Thursday evening at Caniglia Field to Oral Roberts.

17 minutes into the match, Oral Roberts' Genesis Helsley put a shot into the lower right corner, giving the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead. In the 29th minute, senior goalkeeper Charlotte Huggard (Plymouth, Mich.) denied ORU's Kylee Munson from doubling the lead.

Lela Stark scored the second of the night for the away side in the 78th minute, doubling the lead.

The Mavericks and Golden Eagles finished with three shots on goal apiece. Omaha held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Mavericks return to action to take on St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. CT live on the Summit League Network.
