Box Score

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Soccer secured its fifth shutout of the season with a 4-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday night.

The Mavericks (5-3-3, 0-0-1 Summit League) recorded 28 shots over the Prairie Wolves (3-4-1), who finished the night with two. This match was an exhibition game for NWU.

Senior forward Italo Jenkins (Atlanta, Ga.) doubles his season goal total with a brace. He scored in the 16th minute off an assist from junior forward Mikey Stukenholtz (Gretna, Neb.) and again in the 60th minute thanks to a penalty kick.

Senior midfielder Sam Schendt (Elkhorn, Neb.) came into the match to score his first goal for the Mavs in the 63rd minute thanks to an assist from junior defender Gael de Montigny (Montreal, Quebec, Canada). Schendt transferred to Omaha from Nebraska Wesleyan and did not play in the 2025 season due to injury.

De Montigny scored an unassisted goal of his own in the 80th minute to seal the Prairie Wolves fate even more.

Senior goalkeeper Kamy Ndione (Osaka, Japan) and sophomore goalkeeper Ross Versari (College Station, Texas) combined for a shutout. Ndione spent approximately 72 minutes between the posts, and Versari, in his first appearance for Omaha, finished the match for him.

Next up, the Mavs continue conference play with a trip east to face UMass at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 10.
