Men's Soccer Hosts Saint Mary's for Pups on the Pitch Match

OMAHA - The Omaha men's soccer team (3-1-2) looks to continue its momentum Sunday afternoon when it hosts Saint Mary's (1-4-2). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen on MidcoSportsPlus. Sunday will be the Pups on the Pitch match, and fans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the match. Fans can purchase tickets at omahamavs.com/tickets.
Omaha put together its best performance of the season Thursday night as it routed Yale 6-0 at Caniglia Field. After scoring just one goal on an Italo Jenkins penalty kick in the first half, the Mavs exploded for five goals in the second half, including a brace from Austin Kaiser. Omaha's six goals were the program's most since a 7-0 win over Chicago State on Sept. 9, 2023.
Everyone has gotten a piece of the pie so far this season for the Mavs, as nine different Mavs have scored a goal and eight different Mavs have recorded an assist. Mikey Stukenholtz leads the way with three goals and seven total points.
Coach Dowling has led an impressive offensive turnaround this season, as the Mavs have already scored 16 goals after scoring just 17 all of last season. Omaha's 16 goals lead the Summit League and rank 10th in the country.
