Mav Wrestlers on Road for 2 Duals
The Mavericks will be on the road for a pair of North Central conference duals. UNO will wrestle at St. Cloud State on Friday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. at Halenbeck Hall and will meet No. 2 ranked Minnesota State, Mankato Saturday night at 7.

The Series
UNO holds a 21-3-1 edge in the all-time series with St. Cloud State. UNO won last year, 22-12. The Mavs lead Minnesota State, 14-5, and posted 27-9 win last season.
The Coach
Mike Denney is in his 26th season as the Maverick head coach. The Dakota Wesleyan graduate has a 250-100-5 career mark. He has twice been named the NCAA II National Coach of the Year and led the 1991 and the 2004 Mavericks to NCAA II national championships.

UNO registered impressive home dual wins over No. 4 Central Oklahoma and No. 3 Nebraska-Kearney. The Mavs lost just three of 20 matches in posting a 31-5 win over UCO and a 32-4 triumph over UNK.

Mavericks have been NCC Wrestlers of the Week two straight weeks. Eli Dominguez, 141, earned the honor Feb. 1 and heavyweight Les Sigman was chosen this week.
Looking Ahead
The Mavericks will be back in action at Sapp Fieldhouse next week when they host No. 4 ranked Augustana in the final dual meet of the season.
