Mavs to Host 88 Teams in Volleyball Team Camp

Coach Rose Shires and the Mavericks will host 88 high school teams during this weekend's team competition camp. The camp is the largest of its kind in the nation, featuring teams from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
The teams will compete on 22 courts at five different sites, including nine courts at UNO. Competition will be Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The camp is conducted by Shires and assistant coach Karen Povondra. The schools entered include:
