Johnson Earns NCC Honor Again

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- For the second-straight week, senior setter Christie Johnson has been tabbed as the North Central Conference Setter of the Week. Johnson averaged 12.00 assists per game in matches against top-ranked Nebraska-Kearney and South Dakota. She hit .375 (8k-2e-16ta) while averaging 1.00 kills, 2.00 digs, and 0.75 blocks per game.
The Mavericks, who are tied for the NCC lead with an 8-1 conference mark and a 17-6 overall record, will host St. Cloud State on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. in the Sapp Fieldhouse. It will mark the final home appearance for UNO's five seniors: Ashley Freeman, Heather Hainline, Johnson, Chelsea Miller, and Briana Ritter.
