
Mavericks Travel to Upper Iowa, South Dakota This

The University of Nebraska at Omaha volleyball team (10-8/3-4 NCC) will hit the road for a pair of matches this week. The Mavericks will travel to Fayette, Iowa on Tuesday, Oct. 16 for a 7 p.m. non-conference match at Upper Iowa (4-19). Nebraska-Omaha will resume NCC action on Friday night when they travel to Vermillion, S.D. for a 7 p.m. match at South Dakota (17-5/2-3 NCC).
The Record
The Mavericks are currently 10-8 overall and 3-4 in the North Central Conference after sweeping North Dakota last Saturday 3-0 (30-25, 30-26, 30-24) in the Sapp Fieldhouse.

In the latest CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 poll released on Oct. 15, North Central Conference schools ranked in the top 25 included: Minnesota Duluth (3), Augustana (11) and Minnesota State (12).
Christensen Reaches 1,000-Kill Mark With her second kill against Northwest Missouri State on Sept. 19, All-American Carlie Christensen became the 16th player in school history to record 1,000 career kills. The senior from Omaha has now tallied 1,099 kills to date.
Christensen, Agnew Climbing Maverick Career Charts
Senior middle blocker Carlie Christensen has moved up to fourth on the Maverick career charts with 389 block assists. She ranks 15th with 1,099 career kills Senior setter Katie Agnew ranks 8th with 2,025 career set assists.
