Myers Named MIAA Specialist of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sophomore setter #Emily Myers# was named the MIAA specialist of the week after averaging 10.92 assists per set as Nebraska-Omaha went 4-0 in its season-opening weekend.
Myers had 30-plus assists in all four matches during the UNO Volleyball Showcase. She finished second among the tournament field with 10.92 assists per set and she was 10th with 2.92 digs per set.
To go with her setting, Myers also hit .500 with 13 kills and two errors in 22 attempts.
On Saturday against North Alabama she had six kills and hit .750 while recording 32 assists and seven digs. On Friday, Myers recorded a pair of double-doubles with double-figure assists and digs.
