GREENWOOD, Ind. – Sophomore middle blocker Anna Blaschko was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® Second Team, as announced by the College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday.

Blaschko was one of 16 student-athletes across District 7 to earn the honor, which includes the states of Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Shakopee, Minn., native holds a 3.93 GPA and is majoring in bioinformatics. On the court, she wrapped up the regular season with 2.45 kills per set, a team-leading 0.98 blocks per set and ranked fourth in The Summit League with a .328 hitting percentage.
