SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Hugo Kametani is tabbed the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon, the league has announced. This marks Kamtani's second weekly honor of the year.
The Kashima, Japan native finished the week with two goals, one game winner, five shots, and three shots on goal.
In game one at Oral Roberts, Kametani scored the equalizer in the 81st minute to force overtime with the Golden Eagles. Then in game two, the junior forward recorded the golden goal in the 93rd minute to help upset Oral Roberts 2-1 in overtime.
