Ryan Krause to Play in Blue-Gray Classic
Senior wide receiver Ryan Krause has been invited to play in the 65th annual Blue Gray All Star Classic on Christmas Day. Krause, the third receiver in school history to have over 1,000 receiving yards in a season, is No. 2 in career receiving yards at UNO with 2,566. He caught 67 passes this season for 1,066 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Blue Gray Classic will kickoff at 2 p.m. CST on Dec. 25 at Troy State University in Troy, Ala. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Krause had four 100-yard games this year and nine for his career. He also owns three of the top six best games by a receiver with games of 180, 173 and 171 yards. He is the only player in school history to appear in the top 10 more than once. He caught 9 passes or more in a game three times this year and had 22 career touchdown catches.
