Findlay First National Dual Foe for Mavs
The Mavericks will meet No. 10 ranked Findlay in the first round of the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Dual Meet Tournament Friday. The match will begin at 10 a.m. CST in Cleveland.
No. 1 ranked UNO will be wrestling its first dual meet of the season after wrestling in six open meets this season. The Mavericks, who finished third in last year's meet, were 10-3 in duals in 2003-04.
This will be the third all-time meeting with Findlay, which finished seventh in last year's national meet that was won by the Mavericks. UNO has won both previous meetings with the Oilers.
UNO will meet the winner of the No. 12 Shippensburg and No. 8 Minnesota State, Mankato match if it can get past Findlay.
