5 Mavs on D2Football.com All-Region Teams
First-team selections Zac Herold and Ben Hochstein head a list of five Mavericks who have been picked for the D2Football.com's all-Northwest Region team announced Wednesday.
In addition, junior quarterback Zach Miller, senior offensive lineman Randall Jantzen and senior linebacker Bobby Danenhauer were all named to the all-region second team.
Herold, a senior tight end from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was second on the team in receiving in 2006. Hochstein, a junior offensive tackle from Hartington, Neb., was the North Central Conference's most valuable offensive lineman and has been named to the Associated Press' Little All-America team for 2006.
