Moulton Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha men's soccer senior midfielder Mark Moulton was named to the 2016 Academic All-District 7 Men's Soccer Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Moulton earned first-team all-district honors with a 3.96 grade-point average in business administration. As a junior in 2015, he was tabbed a Second-Team Academic All-American. Moulton has three points this season on a goal and an assist while starting 14 games.
The honor is the latest in a long list of awards for the Omaha, Neb., native. This season, he is a candidate for the 2016 Senior CLASS Award. Last season, he was recognized as a Summit League Distinguished Scholar and earned Academic All-Summit League honors. Additionally, he is a two-time First Team All-Summit League performer. Moulton tied the career mark for career points (45) and is the program's career record holder for assists (19).
Moulton is one of 12 men's soccer players named to the NCAA Division I District Seven Team.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected in November.
Moulton and the Mavericks are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 29 when Omaha hosts No. 3/4 Denver. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.Â
