Mavs Kick Around with Local Youth in South Omaha

The UNO Maverick men's soccer team hosted a free youth soccer clinic for boys and girls in South Omaha on Saturday.
The Mavs played soccer with the kids on Omaha South High School's field, then passed out team pictures and signed autographs. After the clinic, the team went out and toured the South Omaha community and had lunch in the area.
"It was great to take our boys into South Omaha to provide a free youth clinic to all of the boys and girls that showed up for the event," Head Coach Jason Mims said. "This was very rewarding to see the positive influence our players had on these kids and to see the impact these wonderful kids had on our players. A special thanks goes out to the U.S. Deputy Marshals for providing water and ice cream for all of the kids."
