OMAHA, Neb. - UNO men's soccer coach Jason Mims will host the UNO Soccer Academy One Day College ID Camp, set for Sunday, August 4 at the UNO Soccer Field at 68th and Spring Streets.
The camp runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with check-in starting at 9:30 a.m. Players can register online at the link above. Registration is $125 per player and space is limited, so entrants are encouraged to sign up immediately. The registration fee includes lunch and a T-shirt.
The camp is designed for 9th graders and up who aspire to compete collegiately. Players will be given an opportunity to show and improve their skills under the tutelage of the UNO coaching staff and players. The camp provides high-level training and will instruct players on their attitude, technical ability, tactical awareness, speed and agility. Players should have a fundamentally sound skill level prior to arrival at camp.
Lunch and water will be provided and there will be a short break in the afternoon. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack for themselves, as well as their own ball, shoes (both indoor and outdoor) and shinguards. Goalkeepers should bring all necessary gear.
