UNO's Ghitis Collects Player of the Week Award

ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha goalkeeper Joseph Ghitis was named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week following his performance Sept. 29-Oct. 5.

Ghitis garnered his first career award after recording a shutout in a scoreless tie against Oral Roberts. Among his three saves, Ghitis stopped a point blank shot at the end of regulation. Ghitis was involved in his second consecutive shutout and extended his scoreless streak to 200:58.
