Tickets Go On Sale Monday For Inaugural UNO Men's

OMAHA, Neb. - Tickets will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m., for the inaugural UNO men's soccer home match, set for Sunday, Aug. 28 vs. No. 24 UC Irvine at 5 p.m., at the UNO Soccer Field (6808 Spring St.).
Tickets are all general admission and cost $5 for adults and $3 for students with a school ID. UNO students can get in for free with their Mav Card. Tickets may be purchased starting Monday at the Sapp Fieldhouse ticket office. On gameday, tickets will only be on sale at the UNO Soccer Field, beginning two hours before the start of the match.
There will be a gameday party with specials for UNO students at Mojo Smokehouse & Ales in Aksarben Village, beginning at 3 p.m. Following the party, the marching band will lead the students in a pre-game march to the UNO Soccer Field. The first 500 UNO students to show up at Mojo or the soccer field will receive a free t-shirt. There will be free parking available for fans in the lots surrounding the UNO Soccer Field.
The Anteaters finished 14-3-3 last season and spent most of the season ranked in the top 10. The game kicks off the home portion of the Mavericks' first season of men's soccer, and it will also be the first home game of the year for any UNO athletic team in the school's transition to Division I.
