Field Set for 2019 Summit League Men’s Soccer Championship

OMAHA, Neb. – The field has been set for next week's 2019 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, the league office announced Saturday evening. No. 4-seeded Omaha is one of four teams set to compete at the tournament, Nov. 14 and 16, at CIBER Field in Denver, Colo.
All games will be streamed free of charge at thesummitleague.org.
Omaha (3-8-4, 2-2-1 Summit League) earned the tournament's No. 4 seed and will face No. 1 seed Western Illinois (5-12-1, 4-1) on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. (CT).
Thursday's second match pits third-seeded Denver (4-11-3, 2-2-1) against No. 2 Oral Roberts (13-3, 4-1-0) at 5 p.m. CT.
The winners of Thursday's matches will play in Saturday's championship contest at 3 p.m. CT, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA College Cup.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
•Omaha has earned a bid to the postseason event for the fifth time in five tries since becoming eligible for Division I postseason play.
•The Mavericks have made the championship match each of the last three seasons, winning the tournament title for their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2017.
